The Warpstock Event Team is very pleased to announce that Warpstock 2002 , the sixth edition of the annual Warpstock event, will be held in Austin Texas, October 5th and 6th, 2002 at the Renaissance Austin Hotel.

The Renaissance Austin Hotel is a AAA 4 Diamond award facility, with 476 rooms, that is located near the IBM Austin campus. The site features 95 acres of more than 50 specialty shops, restaurants and movie theaters. We have arranged a special show room rate of $129 per night Single/Double that will be available for up to 3 days before and 3 days after Warpstock (based on availability). We will have more information about the Austin area on the http://www.warpstock.org web site, or our mirror site: http://warpstock.os2voice.org , when it is available.

You can make hotel reservations by calling 1-800-HOTELS-1, 1-800-228-9290, 512-343-2620 or by fax to 512-343-6364. Please be sure to mention "Warpstock 2002" to get the show room rate. The hotel is expecting to sell out that weekend, so please make your reservations as early as possible.

Details on the cost and payment for registration for Warpstock 2002 are still being worked on and will be announced shortly.
