Just a reminder that the hotel block reserved for Warpstock 2002
attendees is only assured until September 13, 2002. Rooms after that date are as
available and not at the guaranteed Warpstock rate of $129 single/double. For a
comparison their regular rack rate for the Austin Renaissance Hotel is $217 for
a single/$237 for a double room. I know most people don't pay rack rate but the
hotel has told us they expect to be sold out that weekend, so its not a good idea
to wait until the last minute this year to make your arrangements for attending
the event.
