Randy Loflin has agreed to take on the job of volunteer coordinator
for Warpstock 2002. This year Warpstock is going to be held at the Austin Renaissance
Hotel in Austin Texas, October 5-6. If you are planning on coming, and you would
like to help out at the event, Randy would like to hear from you.
We need volunteers to help man the registration
table, the Warpstock booth, act as room monitors, help with the network setup, help
with the exhibition hall setup and breakdown. You don't have to be local to the
Austin area to help in these areas.
Volunteers who contribute at least two hours of
their time during the weekend receive a free Warpstock shirt and the eternal gratitude
of those who attend the event. Without the volunteers, the show would not be a success.
If you can help, please let us know by sending
an email to warpstock-team@warpstock.org. You can also use the online
form.
Make sure you let us know that you are interested
in volunteering and what position you may be interested in helping with. (When you
notify us in advance of your plan to help we can make sure we order the correct
size and number of shirts, and we can better coordinate the event.)
