The hotel has informed us that a very few rooms are left for the
weekend of October 5th and 6th. They have agreed to extend the Warpstock 2002 guaranteed
room block at the discounted rate of $129 single/double for one more week. That
makes the final date to guarantee an available room at the Austin Renaissance hotel,
September 20th.
The hotel is expected to be completely booked Warpstock
weekend. To make sure that you have a room so that you can enjoy all the after-hours
discussions that are as much a part of Warpstock as the presentations and giveaway
session, reserve your room as soon as possible. The Warpstock Social is already
been sold out, so please don't wait any longer to book your room where you can meet
and greet lots of other OS/2 using folks.
Since the room rate we negotiated is valid for
single or double occupancy, if you are interested in finding someone to share a
room with, Pete Grubbs has setup a mailing list for seeking roommates - http://groups.yahoo.com/group/WarpstockRoomates/
