Since 1997, OS/2 users from around the world have
attended the annual Warpstock conference. The Southern California OS/2 User Group,
SCOUG, was the 1997 host. The windy city, Chicago, was the selection for 1998, Atlanta
was the home for 1999 and Philadelphia rang the bells for Warpstock 2000.
The Warpstock Board of Directors is anxious to
begin the selection process for the host city of Warpstock 2001.
It seems that there are folks out there that are
one step ahead of us! Two groups have already submitted bid proposals for consideration.
Initial requests indicating your intent to bid
for Warpstock 2001 are due by January 31, 2001. Once you have submitted your intent
to bid, a Warpstock director will be assigned to assist you in preparing your bid.
Completed bid proposals will be accepted starting
Feburary 15, 2001 and ending March 1, 2001.
A host city will be announced no later than April
15, 2001.

Process detail.
Thank you,
Board of Directors
