OPS-01 : Opening Open Source

Topic Description

  • The SCOUG Programming SIG recognizes the importance of open source to the future of OS/2. It further recognizes that more in the OS/2 community need to contribute as well as receive. It seeks then to find ways to overcome current inhibitors or barriers to having more participants. The SIG has three concurrent strategies: a short term one that makes the current situation more palatable, a long term one that simplifies the current situation, and one that dovetails the first into the second.
