A Dream comes true: Virtual PC for OS/2

    InnoTek has recently partnered with Connectix Corporation and Serenity Systems International to bring virtual machine technology to the OS/2 and eCS platforms. This will include Virtual PC for OS/2, with planned availability in early 2002, which allows you to run any alien operating system such as Windows 2000 on your OS/2 desktop. InnoTek will also market Virtual PC for Windows running OS/2 as a guest operating system on Windows to allow for smooth migrations while protecting investments. The session will talk about the products, the technology behind and include an amazing live demo.

Using IBM's "ManplatoSync for Java"

    One of IBM's latest alphaWorks technologies allows you to synchronize your IBM WorkPad and other Palm compatible devices on any Java enabled platform. This new technology, called "ManplatoSync for Java", was primarily developed under OS/2 Warp, and features a number of useful functions for performing data synchronization with Palm-compatible handheld computers. Foremost, it includes a plug-in mechanism for pieces of Java code called "mConduits" that allows developers to integrate synchronization functionality with potentially any application.

    This presentation will present "ManplatoSync for Java" from an end-users perspective. It will include a discussion of how you can use "ManplatoSync for Java" in your home or office, its features, and will include a demonstration of the product running with the "mConduit for Lotus Notes", an optional mConduit plug-in developed by the ManplatoSync team.
